3. These homes have drayks in them who tell you to get out as soon as you open the door. 19. Carol Mayes, a commoner human is wandering here. She can give you a tip about Emily's origins.
4. A barrel here contains a hypnotic wand. 20. To Zhass-Uss Outskirts
5. The door here takes 5 living tools at 13 Mechanics. This small room contains a canister: Battle Shaping +1. One of the jars outside contains some venom thorns and some tranquil thorns. 21. The door to this bullding takes 1 living tool at 11 Mechanics. a Feather Token in a barrel here. There are also 3 spore controls here. The eastern one turns on the mines in the east gate. The center one turns on the mines in the south gate. The western switch turns on the mines in the west gate.

Amena Blade will give you some background on the Takers. But, he clearly hates shapers. There is a shaped shield and a steel sword on his desk (both NY). If you tell Syros you want to join the Takers, Amena will give you a quest.

  • Quest: Slay a Leader.

Once you have joined, he will have another for you.

  • Quest: Slay Cultists. Reward: some restoration spores.

Igner wanders about this room and the rooms southwest of here. She has a quest for you.

  • Quest; Spinecore Problem. Rewward: corrupting baton.

The eastern cabinet has 20 coins and a bronze sword (both NY).
7. Bach is the blacksmith here. He's not friendly, but he may let something slip about Beneri-Uss. 23. The cabinet has a chainmail vest, splitting thorns, and a terror wand (all NY)
8. Merchant. Will trade, but doesn't want to talk to you. 24. The door to this room take 1 living tool at 13 mechanics. The cabinet contains a reaper baton and a rod of succor (both NY). There is also a canister here: Create Rotghroth +1.
9. Some vat boots and some shaped boots are on the floor here (both NY). 25. Ladder up to Zhass-Uss (Upstairs).

Dhorass is a young cryodrake. He can give you a quest.

  • Quest: Kill Melancon. A glaahk shield and some cash.

11. The stand book is about Taker dreams. +25 xp the first time you read it. 27.

A chest on the north wall contains a curing pod (NY) and a spray baton. Tereaa wanders around the area just west of the building. If you are Awakened, she has a quest for you.

  • Quest: Help Jeek in Shade Patrol.
12. The door requires 1 living tool at 11 Mechanics. The boxes here contain reapers and a madness gem (both NY). 28. There is some wiry moss (NY) hidden in the pile of grain. The crate contains 15 bars of iron (also NY). But, you can take the 3 bottles of wine on the floor.

Toivo can tell you where you might find a cure for the servile disease. But, hates shapers too much to address any other question. If you ask Syros to join the takers, Toivo will have a quest for you.

  • Quest: Recover Artifact.

He has 2 pieces of shaper equipment, some shaper records and 2 essence pods on his tables (all NY).

 29. The chests contain 2 steel shields, 14 steel javelins, a blast crystal and some major healing spores (all NY). You can take the bottle of wine, though. One of the barrels outside this building contains a living tool.

Syros, leader of the Takers, holds court here. If you tell him you might be ineterested in joining the takers, he will give you a Feather Token. and ask you to get the approval of Toivo and Amena Blade. They will each give you a quest. When you have completed both, Syros will allow you to join the Takers and give you a Fang Token and the Zhass-Uss Key.

He has additional quests for those who have joined the Takers.

  • Quest: Get Magus Complex Information. Reward: Horn Token and you will be allowed to enter Benerii-Uss.
  • Quest: Sabotage Radiant College.
30. The drayk who lives here will be enraged that you are at his home. His nest contains 185 coins, some shaper records and a living tool (all NY).

On the table, there is a pair of putrified gauntlets, gruesome charm and Tek's Spectral Dick. The small room to the east has 2 canisters:
