  1. You complete both the Tale of the Ascended quest and Cockatrice Research.
  2. You give Ascended Alonzo permission to take the final step.
  3. You leave the zone and then come back.

On the table in this room there is a Major Healing Pod, Major Healing Spores, Reapers and a Blast Crystal.

Need Barren's Key to open the door on the north.
4. Guards will stop you here if you do not have the Gleaming Feather from Ascended Labs. 12.

Yu-La. Will sell you stuff. Wants you to do her favors in exchange for goodies.

Quest: Yu-La's Treasures. It has two parts:

  • Give some goo to Thackerazod (updstairs at the Eastern Docks).
  • Charge a blade using 3 canisters you have not yet absorbed. Then, give the blade to Thackerazod.

Servant Mind Swanwick wants you to help him finish his research on the Cockatrice.

Quest: Cockatrice Research. It has two parts:

Eroc and his inutile friends try to pick a fight with you.

 14. Swanwick opens the door when you complete the first part of his quest. Canister: Create Cockatrice + !
7. The door to this room is locked (requires Mech 10?). Chest contains 50 coins and a ruby. The table has a jeweled wand, shielding spores, a steel shield, splitting thorns, and shaper records. 15. Swanwick opens the door when you complete the second part of his quest. Canister: Create Cockatrice + !
8.

Ascended Alonzo tells you more about the Ascended. He asks that you complete the Tale of the Ascended quest by destroying the third surviving member of the Ascended, Oroboros, who has gone mad. Gives you Barren's Key for this task.

He also tells you about the servant mind's plans.
